Just in time for Christmas, Sesame Street and BVB are unveiling a new jersey design for the BVB 26/27 home jersey. Ernie and Bert, the Cookie Monster, and Elmo adorn the jersey in pine green, arranged in the shape of the numbers 09.

As part of the “RE:FIBRE” process, equipment supplier PUMA has used 95% recycled polyester in the fabric composition of the home jersey. Using new technology from PUMA, discarded polyester is transformed into new fabric, which is now being incorporated into the jerseys.
