À l'occasion de Noël, « Sesame Street » et le BVB dévoilent un nouveau motif floqué pour le maillot domicile du BVB 26/27. Ernie et Bert, le Cookie Monster et Elmo ornent un motif vert sapin, qui prend la forme des chiffres 09.

Dans le cadre du processus « RE:FIBRE », l'équipementier PUMA a utilisé 95 % de polyester recyclé dans la composition du maillot domicile. Grâce à une nouvelle technologie développée par PUMA, le polyester qui n'est plus utilisé est transformé en un nouveau tissu, désormais intégré aux maillots.
